Our Philosopy
Our bodies are not closed systems, meaning everything is interconnected and even communicates through biochemical pathways to promote various actions, both good and bad. For this reason, Functional Nutrition (or a ‘whole body’ approach) is what we believe makes all the difference in our clients’ health.
At Genomic Led Nutrition, we believe food is medicine and try to target the root cause to improve your health. We prefer to use laboratories that provide us with clinically useful health data, working with healthcare companies that comply with HIPAA privacy rules and demonstrate integrity.

Our Functional Medicine RD’s

RDN, CN, FMN, GLN Owner/ Founder
Genomic Specialist Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
I graduated from Bastyr University and completed an internship in the field of nutrition. I wanted to make a difference, so I sought out additional training in Functional Nutrition, which I applied while working in private practice.
My multi-year training in Functional Nutrition enabled me to understand all of the aspects that can impact a person’s nutritional needs on a deeper level. This empowered me to help people with more challenging issues.
Additionally, my Functional Nutrition training led me to the field of genomics. Over the last eight years, I have learned as much as possible about genomics, earning certifications in the field. Genomics is very complex. Discoveries and research are continually being conducted, leading to further updates and the discovery of new SNPs. It requires constant research and review to stay current with this ever-evolving science.
More recently, I have completed additional training in immunology for dietitians and training through the Kalish Institute. All of this additional education and approaches have driven great results with my clients.
I consider myself as translating this biochemical process into action steps in your daily life.

MPH, RDN, CD, and Genomic Specialist
As an RD over the last 10 years, I come to believe nutrition should be personalized to each individual for optimal results and am passionate about using food as medicine to help my clients prevent and alleviate many chronic diseases. I have spent the last 4 years in private practice specializing in Nutritional Genomics and Testing to help clients understand how their genes impact their health and nutrition needs. I love working with clients looking to optimize their health and nutrition and feel their best, clients experiencing some underlying deficiencies or metabolic inefficiencies, and clients needing extra support achieving weight loss or athletic performance goals.
I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business and Economics from UCLA and a Master’s in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Washington where I also completed my dietetic internship. Additionally, I have also completed advanced coursework in functional nutrition with the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy and several courses in nutrigenomics, nutrigenetics as well as culinary genomics.
I am passionate about actively pursuing more continuing education in the fields of functional nutrition and nutrigenomics.
In my spare time I also serve as a board member at the global poverty alleviation non-profit Spreeha and sit on the Equity and Inclusion committee at my kids’ school.
Our Testing
At Genomic Led Nutrition, we use functional nutritional tests that help us go underneath to find the root cause rather than guessing based on symptoms. We only order tests from labs that are HIPPA-compliant, CLIA certified, and doctor recommended. We offer the below tests and other tests such as adrenals, thyroid, etc. as clinically relevant.
-
Nutrigenomic Testing
Our standard packages include nutrigenomic tests that are all HIPPA-compliant and utilize the latest scientific evidence to provide actionable evidence-based insights.
-
Micronutrient Blood/Urine Testing
Our standard packages include functional testing from CLIA certified labs that provide markers such as vitamins, minerals and toxins that help us personalize our recommendations and address root causes.
-
Hormone Testing
Hormones like estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, etc. can be tested through urine, saliva, and blood. We assess individual needs and recommend tests accordingly.
-
Food Sensitivity Testing
When needed we offer the gold standard of food sensitivity testing that tests IgE-mediated responses to uncover sensitivities or causes of chronic inflammation.
-
Advanced Lipid Panel
For a detailed assessment of cardiovascular risk we offer advanced lipid testing with ApoB, Lp(a), LDL-P and more.
-
Gut Health Testing
When indicated, we offer stool studies to help provide comprehensive insights on gut health.
